Yesterday I learned about four babies who need a place to live and be saved. I had to say no.
The social worker begged me. I still had to say no because we don’t have the funding to care for the children we currently have. The tiny baby home is empty, and the El Roi baby home is reducing in numbers since we haven’t been able to accept children since January. When will it end? When will the Lord provide the funds needed to say yes? I know it’s all His money and we are just stewards of everything He has provided us on earth, but when will He release it to save these little ones who have no place of safety?
This month we have launched a campaign called “More Than Diapers.” Our children need diapers, but they also need everything else to live and grow to be productive members of society and world changers. Just last week our older kids went to visit the Parliament buildings in town and then on to visit the Times of Eswatini (newspaper). All of these things cost money. Taking children to the US on educational and relational trips costs money, but they are life-changing for the students, the staff, and the people who host them.

I have been crying out to the Lord, asking for Him to open heaven’s bank and provide for our children so that we can provide for more. Are you being asked to be a part of His bank? Are you able to help us say yes to children again? We need $145,000 to cover the children for the balance of 2026. Would you like to be a large or small part of that? We have been given a $30,000 match for this specific purpose, so every dollar you give will be doubled up to $30,000.
This morning I received a random message on WhatsApp from a woman whom I have only met once. Here is what she sent me.
So do not worry, saying, ‘What shall we eat?’ or ‘What shall we drink?’ or ‘What shall we wear?’
Matthew 6:31
- God’s promise to you is that He will provide for you.
- In life there are so many things that we can become concerned about.
- But we need to look to the One Who is our Provider and Protector.
- He encourages us not to give in to worry and fear but to trust Him.
Prayer: Lord, forgive me for my tendency to be anxious about material things. You love and care for me, and You know my every need. I look to You, and I choose faith over fear and freedom instead of anxiety. Amen.
Amen.
