Meet Khosie: Serving Lives at Project Canaan

In 2014, Khosie Mamba walked through the gates of Project Canaan for the very first time. She began her work in the Toddler Home, caring for some of the youngest children on campus. Within just three months, her dedication earned her a supervisor role. Over the next decade, she grew into her current position as Senior Manager of the Children’s Campus.

Today, Khosie’s work includes overseeing daily routines, collaborating with social workers, guiding supervisors, and ensuring that every child receives the love and care they deserve. She describes her days as full but filled with purpose.

When asked about the hardest part of her job, Khosie points to the weight of decision-making. “Sometimes we have to make the hardest decisions,” she shares, “but I know I am not alone. We seek wisdom together and trust God with the outcome.”

Despite the challenges, her motivation remains strong. “What helps me,” Khosie says, “is remembering where our children come from and seeing how far they’ve grown. Their only hope is here at Project Canaan, and I know their lives will be changed.”

Looking to the future, she sees something powerful: a generation of resilient young people who refuse to give up. “Our kids never give up. Even when they fail the first time, they try again. That gives me hope that they will become leaders who change Eswatini.”

For Khosie, the greatest joy is summed up in two words: serving lives. Her story is one of faith, growth, and unshakable hope for the children in her care—and for the future of a nation.
