Financial Information

All arrangements for Heart for Africa trips are finalized as soon as the required funding deadlines have passed. Once Heart for Africa receives funding to cover the cost of your trip (varies by country of departure and service), it will contact trip participants to finalize these arrangements. Donations may be made through the website, mail, or telephone. Incremental deadlines are in place for each trip in order to process ticketing and reservations. Full funding for the trips should be received by Heart for Africa 30 days prior to departure, in order for your tickets to be delivered to you on time.

Donations Are Never Refundable
Because Heart for Africa is a USA registered non-profit, 501(c)(3) organization, donations to it are generally tax deductible to the full extent allowed by law as long as Heart for Africa has complete discretion and control over the use of all donated funds. Because Heart for Africa maintains the required discretion and control, donations to it cannot be refunded.
